Founder/CEO

Tuxen & Associates, Inc. was established by Gorm Tuxen in 2001.

 

Mr. Tuxen had previously served 10 years as the Director of Business Development for world-leading parking meter company Duncan Industries, a Dover company. During his tenure with Duncan, Mr. Tuxen acted as the Chief architect of the new Integrated Systems Proposition, guiding the company on its journey from a meter manufacturer to a complete integrated parking solution provider for on-street parking. Mr. Tuxen was also directly responsible for the sales and implementation of new solution-based meter deployment in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and New York City in the late ’90s.

 

Our company was founded with the awareness that the future would bring a convergence of information management systems across industries, combining information management systems with front-end equipment as standards would evolve along the lines of IT networking rather than that of Industry-specific data standards. This anticipation combined with the conviction and experience that true success comes from identifying customer needs and combining these with technical competence and relevant solutions development became the foundation for the creation of our company.

Mr. De la Vega brings an extensive amount of knowledge to our company from his many years as a Senior Executive with the HID Global team as the company’s Managing Director Latin America and The Caribbean as well as his subsequent position as Managing Partner of HURO our Exclusive Associate Partner in Latin America.

 

Humberto is an experienced business development executive specializing in forming and leading high-performance teams with more than 30 years of experience working in the electronic security industry. He knows how to address challenging business scenarios, work with multi-cultural groups, covering domestic and international markets. He has demonstrated his ability to build business units from scratch and grow others throughout his career.

 

Humberto’s Business Development skills include market development, corporate management, sales management, channel management, product development, and quality function deployment.
